I have read an article about giving your pet raw food. They say that it is easier to digest and the by product (POOP) is less smelly. Has anyone out there tried this?
I do know that I have given raw carrots to my puppies for a chew toy. It was less expensive and if they did chew it up and digested it, they got good nurishment and maybe not so hungry latter. It saved my shoes and my table legs.
We all could use some tried and true tricks for taking the best care of our pets.
Lets hear from you.

The Joy of our Family
How many of us spend more time talking about our pets, than our kids? Well maybe not too much more than our grandchildren.
We share what works for the bad breath on our dog, or maybe how can we help our pet with arthritis, without having to go spend lots of money at the vet, just to learn that arthritis comes from old age.
Don't get me wrong, I love our vet and she takes wonderful care of our many pets, BUT if I can help them out so they do not have to go the vet so often, I feel better.
I wonder if "an apple a day keeps the Doctor away" works for the vets too?
Now it is so handy to go to the computer and find what it takes to make our cuddly friends feel better and live longer. PLUS no driving and using up that $4.50 (or more) per gallon gas.
