This last year ended on a sad note.
My one cat, who thought he was a beyond being out witted or out ran, has disappeared. We believe that the big cat in the wilds next to us, or the wolf or another animal must of got him. We miss him.
My dog that had cancer on his nose, had to be put to sleep.
There is no cure for that type of cancer, as it is very aggressive. We were able to keep him comfortable, but we did not want him to suffer, just for us.
One thing I did learn, was that the reason they loose so much weight, is the cancer uses up all the calories. I gave him extra calories in his food as a treat, just to help.
Now this a new year, and more for us to learn about our animals and more love to give to the ones we have.
